The following activity types are available in the Teaching Activities module:

  • Courses developed: Creation of substantial materials for use as course content

  • Courses taught (Athena): Formal courses taught at UGA. Scheduled teaching comes from the authoritative source through a feed from Athena. Therefore you cannot add new courses taught records even though the + sign is still visible.  You can add other information to existing courses taught not captured in banner. Click "Add manual record" to include "Additional Course Characteristics" and "Pedagogical highlights".

  • Guest lectures: One or a series of lectures given as a guest in a course, whether at UGA or not.
(For lectures not part of a formal course, use the Professional Activity, "Educational/Outreach presentations)

  • Programs developed: Creation of major portions of an entire program

  • Student/Trainee supervision: Supervision of all student levels, from pre-collegiate to post-doctoral
