The following activity types are available in the Teaching Activities module:

  • Courses developed: Creation of substantial materials for use as course content

  • Courses taught (Athena): Formal courses taught at UGA. Scheduled teaching is fed into Elements from Athena, therefore you cannot add new courses taught records in the interface. Courses taught records must be updated in Athena. However, you can add information to courses such as:  "Major course revisions";  "Pedagogical highlights"; and "Average number of contact hours per week" when you edit the record. See below:

  • Guest lectures: One or a series of lectures given as a guest in a course, whether at UGA or not.
(For lectures not part of a formal course, use the Professional Activity, "Educational/Outreach presentations)

  • Programs developed: Creation of major portions of an entire program

  • Student/Trainee supervision: Supervision of all student levels, from pre-collegiate to post-doctoral

Below is a list of other instructions.
