Choose favorites in each category

In each tab of your Experts@UGA profile, objects (outputs and activities) are listed in a defined order. By default, this is reverse chronological order by publication date or start date (by “Date”). The viewer of your profile can change the order of viewing to by “Title” or by “Type” and can also toggle between ascending and descending order for by “Date” and by “Title”.

You may wish to highlight specific objects (e.g., publications, grants) in your Experts@UGA profile. To do this, you select specific objects in UGA Elements as “Favourite” by clicking on the “heart” icon on that object’s entry in the list of objects in a given category. For example, clicking on VIEW ALL on the Scholarly & creative works panel on your UGA Elements home page, takes you to the list:

When you click the “heart” icon, it appears filled in on your object. This marks it as a “Featured” object in your Experts@UGA profile and a new control appears in the SCHOLARLY & CREATIVE WORKS tab that, by default, lists your Featured objects at the top of the list. The viewer can toggle this control off if they like, which returns the list to the other sort controls.

You can mark as “Favourite” as many objects as you like, but restricting this to a few significant ones is more effective.

This same feature is available in the Experts@UGA SPONSORED PROJECTS tab (in UGA Elements, use Grants: Sponsored project awards or Other funding), PROFESSIONAL tab (use Professional Activities: multiple types), and INSTRUCTION tab (use Instruction: Courses taught, Guest teaching, Non-UGA courses taught, or Programs developed).
